There are two local book launch events planned for What She Gave Away. The first will be a signing on Saturday September 22 from 3:00 to 4:30 at Tecolote Book Shop in Montecito’s Upper Village. An ideal setting for a launch as one of my two protagonists lives in the Montecito hills. There is also a family connection as my uncle owned Tecolote in the early 1960s. The second will be held on Thursday September 27 from 5:30 until 7:00 at the Santa Barbara Public Library’s Faulkner Gallery. This benefit event will include a reading, interview and signing with all proceeds to be donated to one of my favorite nonprofits, The Friends of the Santa Barbara Public Library.
