The first will be held on Sunday September 22 from 3-5 at Santa Barbara’s iconic Book Den. The event will include a short reading followed by a Q & A. A benefit for The Friends of the Santa Barbara Library will be held on Thursday September 26 from 5-7:30. Publisher Thomas & Mercer has generously donated 50 copies of What She Never Said and all sale proceeds will be directed to the Friends. I’ll be interviewed by longtime local sports reporter Barry Punzal – the perfect choice as I’m an athlete at heart. Expect beverages and appetizers and mingling and a signing to wrap things up. Last year’s launch event raised over $1,500. Let’s double that this year!
